
Christmas is next month, right? Because live music Santa, or whoever places presents under your non-religious holiday totem keeps on giving.
Today, Bruno Mars — who will release a new album, 24K Magic, on Friday — has announced that his world tour will stop at Tampa's Amalie Arena on October 17, 2017.
Tickets will go on sale Monday, November 21 at 10 a.m. EST, and will cost $41.25-$55.75. Get more information on the show here, and watch Mars, 31, on Saturday Night Live above.
Elsewhere, several exciting Bay area shows have been announced, including:
- Alabama, blue-eyed soul collective St. Paul & the Broken Bones at Jannus Landing on March 24. Ticket price is unknown, but they go on sale November 18 at 10 a.m. EST.
- Americana/pop outfit The Avett Brothers at USF Sundome on February 3. Tickets are $39.50 – $69.50. and go on sale Friday, November 18 at 10 a.m. EST.
- Proggy jazz-funk trio Moon Hooch at Crowbar in Ybor City on March 2, 2017. Tickets go on sale November 18, 2016 and will cost $12-$15.
- Songwriter Amos Lee at Tampa Theatre on March 3, 2017. Tickets go on sale Friday November 18 and start at $39.50. More information is available here.
- Doyle, err, Dwight Yoakam at Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg on March 5, 2017. Tickets are $40-$70 and go on sale Saturday, November 19 at 10 a.m. EST.
