As we pointed out yesterday, Sunset Music Festival happened over the weekend — and nobody died.
That’s great considering the two MDMA-related deaths in 2016. The non-fatalities can probably be credited to increased security measures and Sunset’s “zero-tolerance policy” when it comes to drugs.

Still, all eyes have been on the festival — which got a little verbal slap on the wrist from Mayor Bob Buckhorn last year — since Tampa Sports Authority board members unanimously voted to retain the event last September. The Tampa Bay Times’ Paul Guzzo put together a pair of nice reports over the weekend, and we lined up some numbers to share.

30 — Felony arrests total (10 on Saturday, 20 on Sunday)
