Cage The Elephant are coming to Curtis Hixon Park in Tampa as part of Gasparilla Music Festival 2017.

The non-profit festival, now in its seventh year, is set to take over Curtis Hixon Park and Kiley Gardens in downtown Tampa on March 11 & 12 and announced the appearance from the explosive Bowling Green, Kentucky live act as part of a sampling from their lineup.

We are very excited to have Cage the Elephant bring their incredible live act and energy to downtown Tampa, David Cox, GMFs Executive Director wrote in a press release. Cox also told CL that the festival really wanted to share some of the acts with their longtime fans before Thanksgiving.

Joining Cage the Elephant are Nashville indie-prog outfit Moon Taxi, jazz fusion figureheads The New Mastersounds, plus New Orleans' Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Also coming from the Crescent City is funk, soul and hip hop outfit Shamarr Allen & the Underdawgs.

More acts are set to be announced in the coming weeks, and a schedule should be released as the festival approaches. Early bird tickets are still a steal at $40 for a two-day pass, and are available here.
