From the looks of Black Magic Flower Power’s past and upcoming tour dates, you’d have no idea where the disco-pop band is actually from because it’s spread its “stoner-disco” to every corner of the U.S. The California rocker outfit brings a self-proclaimed “desert-boogie” to Tampa Heights where support comes from fellow West Coast rock and roll act Sick Ride. Local openers for this dance-inducing gig comes care of BOTB-winning Tampa rock band Bangarang. As KC & the Sunshine band once said, you might want to bring your boogie shoes to this show.
