Gaelic Storm’s music sounds just like its band name —Irish and intimidating. The genre-bending act from Santa Monica has been wowing crowds with its unique mixture of traditional Irish music and modern folk trends for about  twoyears—and now it’s Clearwater’s turn to be wowed at The Bilheimer Cap. The quintet hasn't released an album in a few years and frankly, they don't need to, because fans (known as Storm Chasers) around the globe can't get enough of Gaelic Storm’s classic party songs like “Drink the Night Away” and “The Night of Tomfoolery.”

Gaelic Storm. Thurs. Jan. 30, 8 p.m. $25 & up. Bilheimer Capitol Theatre, Clearwater. rutheckerdhall.com.
