Weedeater wasn’t on the Corrosion of Conformity bill that came through Ybor City a few weeks ago, but the exclusion works out for Tampa fans since the legendary Cape Fear metal outfit will be headlining an out-of-the-box gig at Coppertail as part of Tampa Bay Beer Week’s “Night of Metal Event,” where suds from the host brewery will be on tap along with some from guests like Magnanimous Brewing, Sideward Brewing, Oxbow Brewing Company, Angry Chair Brewing and Noble Ale Works.
It’s technically free to drink the beer in the tasting room, but tickets will be required for anyone who wants to headbang and slam around the back parking lot where the concert is happening.
