Tuesday is usually really good for local hip-hop heads thanks to a pair of open-mic style events at Tampa Heights’ Shuffle and King State, but Chael Blinya has a Wednesday, Aug. 17 bill at New World Brewery’s Music Hall to get you to come out for a midweek treat just a few miles up the road.

Driven by three lyrics-forward Bay area emcee-poets (Blinya, plus Heyella and Dennis Amadeus), this community-centric affair includes cake tasting and a pay-what-you-can cover charge.
