Cheekface Credit: c/o No Ear Buds
If youโ€™re a fan of Cake, They Might Be Giants and the likes, get ready to become a cheekfreak.

Cheekface, the L.A. indie-pop band has gone full ska on its fifth studio album, Middle Spoon. Itโ€™s the perfect upbeat, funky soundtrack to smile and bang your head into your steering wheel during your morning commute.

Pacing, the San Jose-based opening act led by Katie McTigue, gets the anxious-yet-adorable party started. Her new single โ€œPl*net F*tnessโ€โ€”about becoming a โ€œprofessional membership cancellerโ€ after her fatherโ€™s deathโ€”perfectly captures the incompatibility of capitalism and grief.

Tickets for Cheekface with Pacing happening Tuesday, April 15 are still available at $22.
