Cupcakke’s Halloween Night show was tops on our list for the night last year, but the Chicago rapper apparently missed a flight, causing the concert to be postponed. This is the redo, but it’s been trying times for the 21-year-old rising hip-hop star.

On January 8, a Twitter message saying, “im about to commit suicide” appeared on the “Deepthroat” singer’s page, but Chicago Police quickly checked on her to confirm that she was OK. “I’ve been fighting with depression for the longest,” she wrote in an update, “sorry that I did it public last night but I’m ok… I went to the hospital & im finally getting the help that I need to get through, be happy, & deliver great music. thanks for all the prayers but please don’t worry bout me.”

We’re glad she’s doing better, and we can’t wait for this rowdy do-over at Orpheum to go off without a hitch.
