Celtic Woman is heading back to the Mahaffey Theater once again, after a successful show at the same venue just last year. Don’t expect overworked tunes like “When Irish Eyes are Smiling” or “Mother MaCree,” however. These women are the real deal—a talented bunch of highly accomplished musicians dedicated to preserving Ireland’s traditional music and bringing it to the world. This year, the modern-Irish group is celebrating its 15th anniversary as a band, along with original Celtic Woman star, Chloë Agnew, who joins this special tour that also hits Lakeland’s RP Funding Center on Feb. 27.

Celtic Woman. Sun. March 1, 7 p.m. $53.50 & up. Mahaffey Theater, St. Petersburg. themahaffey.com
