There was an early line wrapped around The Ritz in Ybor City, Florida last Sunday, and while Sam Morton — aka Jungle Man Sam — was only opening for Trini soca demigod Machel Montano, he still had a great set.

"The energy and response I received opening up for Machel at Summer's Last Will was incredible," Morton, 23, told CL. "I've never had so many people come up to me with massive smiles and big me up so hard."

The Mississauga, Ontario reggae artist has been playing music since he was nine-years-old and is influenced by everyone from Diplo to Bob Marley. He plans on staying in town, hitting the beach and streets to busk, before he opens for Collie Buddz at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg on October 23.

Today, CL is premeireing a new song, "Up For You," an upbeat, easy-to-latch-onto anthem that blends a little soca, EDM and pop vocals. It's definitely radio-ready, and you can hear it below.
