Claudio Simonetti, along with his prog-rock four-piece Goblin, soundtracked a good chunk of 20th century Italian horror films, including “Phenomena” and the international cut of 1978’s “Dawn Of The Dead.”

On the heels of the 50th anniversary of the band’s soundtrack debut—for 1975’s “Deep Red”—the 72-year-old has been bringing a career retrospective tour across the U.S., with clips from the films showing behind him, whilst in sync with the band playing.

Unlike in other cities, he won’t be playing the entire “Demoni” score at Orpheum, but if you’re a horror aficionado, you just might learn a thing or two about international perceptions of the film genre.

Tickets to see Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin play Tampa Orpheum on Wednesday, Nov. 27 are still available and start at $40.
