After the storm (please let some rain kill this humidity), Kali Uchis brings her 18-date โ€œFor The Girlsโ€ tour to Tampa next Saturday.

The 31-year-old singer-songwriter is riding high off the release of her latest album Sincerely, initially described as a collection of songs related to major life changes related to loss, reconciliation, and new motherhood. An audio clip of her mother Betsy Loaiza Boteler, who died of lung cancer in 2025, opens the albumโ€™s penultimate, heartstring-tugging track โ€œSunshine & Rain.โ€ And if you can relate to โ€œHeaven Is A Homeโ€ (one of the most beautiful slow-dance songs of last year), itโ€™ll do you some good to not question how far youโ€™ve come in life. Even Anthony Fantano gave it a 7, which isn’t too shabby.

This gig at the old Gary amphitheater, supported by up-and-coming Atlanta rapper Mariah The Scientist and Brooklyn-bred R&B singer-songwriter Laila (stylized with an exclamation mark at the end) will be Uchisโ€™ first stop in town since a 2022 opening slot for Tyler, The Creatorโ€™s โ€œCall Me If You Get Lostโ€ tour at the far more compact Yuengling Center.

Tickets to see Kali Uchis play Tampaโ€™s Midflorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on Saturday, June 13 are still available and start at $40.

And donโ€™t forget $20 extra for parking, because how else is the roof at the old Gary gonna get fixed?
