Cyndi Lauper In case you thought Cyndi Lauper has covered every sonic style in the spectrum (musicals included – see Kinky Boots here next year), the vet multi-talent tries on some new sound for size. This year, with her 11th studio album Detour, she re-interprets a dozen country classics (“Walkin' After Midnight,” “The End of the World,” “I Fall to Pieces,” et. al) and duets with famous guests like Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, Vince Gill and Alison Krauss. BBQ Wednesday Acoustic Series with Jeremy Moore, Beartoe The latest edition of the cheap grub n’ free tunes series features Alabama singer-songwriter Jeremy Moore, who has a sweetly enchanting vocal quality and a catalog of original material that finds him juggling guitar and piano; he also plays a rack-attached harmonica.
