It's not a super busy night of concerts on this Wed., May 4. But still, there's a few things worth mentioning…

Cypress Hill Cali’s ganj-loving hardcore hip hop group (behind such ubiquitous rah-rah rap odes as "Insane in the Brain," "I Ain't Goin' Out Like That" and “Hits from the Bong”) have confirmed the name of a forthcoming ninth album and first new outing since 2010: Elephants on Acid. By their account, it’s all but completed, and while no release date has been confirmed, B-Real, Muggs & Co. will likely bust out a few fresh songs amid all the favored jams. (Jannus Live, St. Petersburg)

Coleman Hell with Ria Mae The Canadian artist might have a rather forbidding name but Coleman Hell has managed to climb the Billboard rock charts with his pop-catchy banjo-sampled dance rock ode “2 Heads” (“Our love ain’t nothing but a monster with two heads”). This tour falls behind the self-titled album that spawned said single. (State Theatre, St. Petersburg)
