Coppertail Brewing Co. is really good at throwing anniversary concerts. The Nude Party is among its past headliners, and this weekend it opts for pop in the headlining slot, care of New York City songwriter and bass player Blu DeTiger who just released a catchy Mallrat collaboration in the wake of cuts with Chromeo and Biig Piig (she’s also played the Bonnaroo Superjam and appeared in Olivia Rodrigo’s “Driving Home 2 U” film).

Indie-psych band Trash Panda plus local favorites Visit Neptune and Turkey Boy round things out, but the gig is anchored by a set from Lakeland emo-rock royalty, Copeland, which put Central Florida on the map 20 years ago with its masterful debut LP, Beneath Medicine Tree.

The free show happens on Saturday, Oct. 21 at the back loading dock of the brewery just outside of Ybor City and kicks off at 4 p.m.
