Creedence Clearwater Revival’s John Fogerty is a major champion of getting vaxxed (and a Black Lives Matter supporter), and he wants to honor healthcare heroes at a fall tour stop in Tampa.

Tickets to see John Fogerty and special guest Lauren Alaina bring the “Charity Pros for Heroes Tour” to Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. go on sale Friday, Sept. 10 and start at $75.25.

The show is one of three Florida Fogerty gigs happening in conjunction with Fort Myers-based nonprofit Charity Pros, and proceeds will go towards scholarships and grants to children whose first-responder or healthcare worker parents have died due to COVID-19.

Folks who like to big up healthcare workers and first responders can make a $100 donation to Charity Pros to send one to the concert, and Creative Loafing Tampa Bay is waiting to back on whether or not Charity Pros or the Yuengling Center will require masks, proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test to get into the show.

Our small but mighty team works tirelessly to share music news, events and concert announcements as the Tampa Bay music scene recovers from coronavirus shutdowns.
