Chris Marshall, the DJ known as Crizzly, brings his high-energy EDM antics to this free Friday night gig at The Ritz in Ybor City.

The Austin-based producer plays the fest circuit, regularly hitting Electric Daisy Carnival, Escape From Wonderland, Warped Tour and Lollapalooza when large, packed crowds were still safe to gather. Crizzly’s jams are ready to soundtrack a party scene in a coming-of-age movie, like “Booksmart,” showing a shy teen going to their first kegger. With songs like “Drop Dat Ass” “Ass Clap” and “Ima Go Hard” you know it’s going to get assy.

The Friday night show is free if you get on the guestlist available at sunsettampa.com. FYI, if you go to a show at The Ritz you are automatically “signing a waiver” that says you won’t sue the venue if you get COVID-19—an increasingly common practice these days, but I wouldn’t tell your mom that or she’ll be up all night with worry, as if she isn’t already.
