Looks like the “Lockdown Blues” are over for Iceage because the Danish art-punk favorite is playing a concert in Tampa next year.

What’s more is that Iceage—touring behind its 2021 album Seek Shelter—is bringing bonkers bi-coastal band Sloppy Jane along for the ride.

Tickets to see Iceage and Sloppy Jane at Crowbar in Ybor City, Florida on Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. go on sale Sept. 10 and cost $18-$20.

Sloppy Jane is led by Haley Dahl, the enigmatic and charismatic force behind an always rotating lineup of a band that’s called both L.A. and New York home (Phoebe Bridgers once played bass in the outfit, and her label, Saddest Factory, will release Sloppy Jane's new LP, Madison, in November). The group’s shows—which you should resist calling performance art—invoke visceral, sometimes uncomfortable reactions from the audience.

It’s still too early to tell what kind of COVID-19 restrictions might be in place come February 2022, but Creative Loafing Tampa Bay reached out to the promoter for any details. We’ll update this post with any response.
