As we learned in March, Ybor City’s official “Pre-Fest” party called it quits. No worries, however, because promoters — especially Savage Beat and Robot House!, which are staging a massive two-day DIY punk-rock festival at Lucky You Tattoo on Tuesday and Wednesday — are doing their part to bring Fest flavor to Tampa Bay. The Bricks pitches in on Wednesday by welcoming a Florida favorite, David Dondero, to a free courtyard concert where the storied songwriter will undoubtedly sing “South of the South,” which includes lyrics about Ybor chickens in Florida rotisseries.
