Black Magic Flower Power was born in the Sonoran desert, but it lives on the road. This weekend, the quintet is hawks its mission to bring death to false boogie to bystanders at three different Bay area venues. The Bends gets first crack on Thursday, and the band (which sounds a little like your dad’s old disco records took a hit of acid and melted into an episode of Scooby-Doo) brings the show to Brass Mug and Shuffle on Friday and Saturday.
