One of the toughest Tampa Bay concerts to get a seat for just got a little more accessible.

DI Coffee Bar has expanded its patio to accommodate about 40 more people, and that’s good news for fans of Dominic Walker’s Best of the Bay-winning Friday residency.

The gig celebrates its third anniversary this weekend, just in time to show off the bigger digs.

Walker told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that the expansion means roughly 100-110 people can now sit down on the back patio and drink wine with some of the best musicians in the Bay area.

The expansion comes just in time since Walker is welcoming Bryan J Hughes, the leader of CL readers’ choice for “Best Jazz Ensemble,” to the stage.

Walker has a lot to celebrate, too, after being named “Best Instrumentalist” by readers who also named the guitarist’s Hurricane Summer ”Best Release By A Local Musician.”

It’s $5 at the door when Friday Night Jazz celebrates its third anniversary at DI Coffee Bar in Tampa on Friday, Oct. 16.
