Feeling like a freak on a leash? Well, you’re in luck because nu metal band Korn is hitting the road this summer and coming to Tampa’s Midflorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on Aug. 7.
It's been about five years since Jonathan Davis and the Bakersfield boys came to town—and this time Korn brings along Aaron Lewis fronted “rock” band Staind. (Lewis recently appeared solo at Ruth Eckerd Hall probably singing his dumb “If I Was a Liberal” song.)
Korn became popular in the early-’90s with its self-titled debut album and has been touring since.
Heads up, you probably don’t want to follow Davis into an alley or anywhere, really. The singer is also a serial killer fanatic—according to Wikipedia he owns Ted Bundy’s Volkswagen and some of John Wayne Gacy’s clown costumes.
Tickets for the show–which also has band ‘68 and Fire from the Gods on the bill–range from $29-$89 and are on sale at livenation.com. Sure beats having to go see that Korn Again tribute act.
