A performance photograph showing Shae Krispinsky of Navin Ave. playing New World Brewery's shuttered Ybor City location. Captured in a medium shot on an outdoor wooden stage, musician Shae Krispinsky stands singing into a microphone while playing a mint-green hollow-body electric guitar. She has long blonde hair, wearing a black sleeveless dress and a black choker necklace, set against a wooden fence backdrop beneath stage lighting and overhead structure beams.

It’s a busy weekend of Halloween concerts at New World this weekend, starting with Friday’s EBM-flavored WMNF Halloween Ball and wrapping with a Saturday show, the ninth edition of what’s become one of the year’s best cover concerts.

Perennial Fangsgiving band Have Gun, Will Travel takes on Thin Lizzy this year. Navin Ave. (which did The Killers last year) is back on the lineup along with rock outfit Bangarang, songwriter Adam Randall (doing Weezer, full band) and others.

Proceeds benefit Instruments 4 Life, a program that puts instruments, and music lessons, in the hands of kids in Hillsborough County’s afterschool programs. Donations of gently used instruments will be accepted.

Tickets to see Fangsgiving IX at Music Hall at New World Tampa in Tampa on Saturday, Oct. 17 are still available with a suggested donation of $15.
