The closure of nine-year-old venue Fubar was a bummer, but the bar’s talent buyer, Todd Frain, has landed a gig at Ferg’s Sports Bar, where he’s going to use the sports bar’s Treehouse space as a new venue for local music. The outdoor courtyard and event space has also been tapped to host concerts from national bands like Drowning Pool, Buckcherry and Puddle of Mudd.

DEA & Saint — a St. Petersburg duo that released one of CL’s favorite albums of 2018 — helps kick the experiment off alongside Sunshine City metal outfit Frostfang. Jack Jagger opens the show, and this looks like just a shred of the agenda when it comes to Ferg's live music calendar. Have a look at some of the bookings below.

DEA & Saint w/FrostFang/JackJagger, Fri. March 15. Treehouse at Ferg’s Sports Bar, St. Petersburg. More info.
