May the Fourth is upon us, and that’s a good enough reason to check out the Florida Orchestra playing songs from the six decade career of composer John Williams whose work has lent weight to films like Star Wars, Harry Potter, E.T. and Schindler’s List.

Two shows (2 p.m. and 8 p.m.) happen on Saturday at Mahaffey Theater, and if you need even more classical music in your life, then head to Tampa on Monday when British pianist Ian Jones — the Deputy Head of Keyboard at the Royal College of Music in London — presents an afternoon of masterpieces as part of University of South Florida’s Steinway Piano Series.
