Grab your (clear) bag and grab your coat. The Avett Brothers are about to have their very own, Mignonette-centered jukebox musical โ€œSwept Awayโ€ premiere at Broadwayโ€™s Longacre Theatre, where the likes of โ€œJesus Christ Superstarโ€ and โ€œA Bronx Taleโ€ have previously played.

But before a month or so off the roadโ€”for reasons we assume are related to oversight of the musicalโ€”Scott and Seth Avett bring the BOTB-winning Americana band is to Coachman Park for the first time since a 2017 slot at Clearwater Jazz Holiday.

Expect another emotional rollercoaster built mostly on a new, eponymous album, featuring the boysโ€™ regular, slow-and-sweet messages of hope in darkness (โ€œWe Are Lovedโ€) and even a couple of headbangers (โ€œLove Of A Girl,โ€ โ€œOrionโ€™s Belt,โ€).

Tickets to see The Avett Brothers play the BayCare Sound in Clearwater on Saturday, Nov. 16 are still available and start at $44.50.
