Tampa-based six-piece Friends of Giants purvey guitar-driven alt rock with intimate revealing lyrics ("Can we start this all over? I was wrong, we were wrong"), folk acoustic moments, appealing melodic breakdowns and a tasteful way of incorporating lush texture via violin, banjo, lap harp, xylophone, chord organ and keys. Joining them on the bill is local punk pop outfit Our Skylight Assembly and electro-acoustic sound crafter Preston Beebe.
