In the alt-rock world, you know youโ€™ve made it when Fueled By Ramen picks you up.

Houston-based pop-punk trio Waterparks already had a pretty solid followingโ€”with over a million monthly listeners on Spotify and a few years of experience on the dearly beloved Vans Warped Tourโ€”before signing to the home of Fall Out Boy and Meet Me @ The Altar last year. The band’s hyper new album Intellectual Property actually peaked at No. 33 on the Billboard 200 in April.

Weโ€™re still a little bitter that the band promoted its greatest hits album with an acoustic set at Orlandoโ€™s Park Avenue CDs instead of, God forbid, St. Peteโ€™s Daddy Kool Records or Tampaโ€™s Microgroove, but in the hours leading up to Waterparksโ€™ stop at Jannus Live this weekend, nothing is off the table in terms of pre-show shenanigans. California indie rock band Hunny and indie-pop singer-slash-fashion designer Sophie Powers open.

Tickets to see Waterparks play Jannus Live in St. Petersburg on Saturday, June 3 are still available for $26.50.
