Believe you me, Ben Stein’s early 2000s stint on Comedy Central had Philadelphia-based rock trio G. Love & Special Sauce serve as the house band.

Almost 30 years after the release of their debut album, Garrett Dutton and friends just got off of yet another one of Train’s cruises, and there’s a tour in place to celebrate the release of a new record, Philadelphia Mississippi.

This is one of Dutton’s first local gigs since one of the few pre-COVID shows held at Jannus in early 2020.

Tickets to see G. Love & Special Sauce play Jannus Live in St. Petersburg on Friday, Feb. 24 are still available and start at $37.
