G. Love’s new band, The Juice, plays St. Pete on Saturday

In late 2020, bluesy trio G. Love and Special Sauce was finally nominated for a Grammy honoring its latest effort, The Juice, which features Keb’ Mo’ on the lead single “Go Crazy”.

The 49-year-old is now on the road with a new, slightly more elaborate backing band, while Special Sauce takes a much deserved break. G. Love and his new, three-piece backing band, appropriately called The Juice, hits Jannus Live on Saturday for the first time in just over two years.

There are tickets still available, but the brilliance of the hip-hop blues might make tickets scarce on the day of.
