Organizers of Gasparilla Music Festival have revealed the first round of acts due to hit the stages at the fourth annual event, set to occur Sat.-Sun., March 7-8, 2015, and spread over four stages set up at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and its adjacent Kiley Garden along the city's picturesque Riverwalk.
Among the national highlights thus far are theatric, bombastic gypsy-punk rockers Gogol Bordello, New Jersey's favorite grungy punk-heartland favorites The Gaslight Anthem, Daptone Records-repped brass-blasted Afro-funk nine-piece The Budos Band, and charming and spirited indie pop duo Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. Also on the national front is Trampled by Turtles, Dumpstaphunk, Hiss Golden Messenger, Roadkill Ghost Choir, Hot 8 Brass Band, Margo & the Pricetags, and Packway Handle Band. Leading the local and Florida regional front are world beat ensemble The Hip Abduction along with miggs, Selwyn Birchwood, Thomas Wynn & the Believers, RedFeather, and Mt. Zion Baptist Gospel Choir.
More performers are scheduled to be announced in the coming weeks and Early Bird discounted ticket pricing has been extended to the next lineup announcement in January. Get them right here.
