Tampa Bay missed out on Baroness’ co-headlining tour with Deafheaven, but the area will get to slam with half of that bill when the Georgia heavy metal band (that’s Baroness) supports its forthcoming Gold & Grey album (due June 14 via Abraxan Hymns) during a show at Orpheum in Ybor City on August 6.
The show is the first of four Florida dates on the tour, which also stops in Fort Lauderdale (August 7 at Culture Room), Orlando (August 9 at Plaza Live) and Jacksonville (August 10 at 1904 Music Hall).
Tickets go on sale Friday April 12 at 10 a.m. and can be had via ticketmaster.com. Watch a video for “Seasons” from Gold & Grey below.
