In recent months, St. Petersburg songwriter and siren Geri X has been extra reflective.

"The last decade has been an absolute insane ride for me. I will spare you, and myself all of the deep dark details,” she recently wrote in 2019 before citing the humans and feelings and friends that’ve come in and out of her life.

“I’m ending the year and the decade still in love, falling back in love with music slowly, a homeowner, getting stronger physically, mending myself mentally, and… just generally looking forward to going to lots of mountains, hiking, and creating more music again.”

On Thursday, the 30-year-old continues her February Thursday residency at the Ale & the Witch where she’s been reaching into different eras of her 15-album discography. This show is free to attend.
