These two classic 60-minute documentaries feature everyone from B.B. King to Bruce Springsteen to Pete Townsend (who admits to never liking Led Zeppelin, ouch) to Jimmy Page discussing their rock guitar heroes and what it was like to be a rock star in the roaring '70s, a topic Ozzy Osbourne and the Toxic Twins explain in candid detail. Incidentally, Allman Brothers fans will be jazzed to see a sterling video clip of the band at its Duane-era apex performing a rousing "Whipping Post." 4.5 stars
