While he isn’t related to Rufus and Loudon, Victor Wainwright is still enough of a beast behind the keys to lay claim to a 2018 Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Album.

This double-feature gig will be slightly evolutionary, with the first set featuring the 44-year-old Georgia boy and his piano paying tribute to his early heroes—from Little Richard to Dr. John—who proved that you don’t have to strap on a guitar to be a rockstar.

After a break, his quintet The Train (including a two-piece horn section) joins for a set of newer originals, with selections from albums as recent as 2020’s Memphis Loud.
