The spirit of GroundUp is a regular visitor to Dunedin Brewery, and it comes to the venue’s adjacent Moon Tower thanks to Armando Lopez, Andres Ferret, and Aaron Lebos, the trio at the core of Anemoia.

The funky, Miami-based indie-rock band was born of improvisation, but does get organized enough to put stuff on record like it did on 2023’s A Muser!, plus Lost the Plot before that. Mutant Fusion Collective, one of a few pseudo house bands born at the brewery, plays a grunge style of improv-jazz in the opening slot.
