Erika Wennerstrom—singer for American rock band Heartless Bastards—flies solo a lot these days, and she touches down outside the Safety Harbor Arts and Music Center (SHAMc) this weekend.

Originally from Cincinnati—513 holla!—Wennerstrom works out of Austin now, and her sound is a little more emotional, a little more lush, but just as rocking as it is with the Bastards. If you don’t feel something listening to her 2018 emotional single “Extraordinary Love” you might want to ask the Wizard for a new soul. No stranger to the area, Wennerstrom has played in Tampa Bay multiple times with the Bastards, and solo, including opening for Lucinda Williams and Drive-By Truckers at Jannus Live in 2019.
