There really isnโ€™t a single term to sum up King Buffaloโ€™s conclusion to its โ€œpandemic trilogy.โ€ Regeneratorโ€”which dropped last yearโ€”is a seven-track collection of lyrics that are zen, sentimental, and conscious of time.

โ€œHoursโ€ has a guitar riff that sounds like something Mick Ronson would contribute to Ziggy Stardust-era David Bowie, and closer โ€œFirmamentโ€ ends with a guitar epic, switching from an indie-rock groove, right to a metal lick.

Last year, the band made its Tampa Bay debut at The Ritz Ybor, and this year, itโ€™s giving the room down the street a shot, alongside a stacked lineup that includes bands featuring members of Cannibal Corpse and Deicide in the middle of it.

Tickets to see King Buffalo play Crowbar in Ybor City on Saturday, Feb. 25 are still available for $17.
