Well it's time to get offline and into a real life concert, friend, because on Tuesday, both Iron & Wine announced separate Tampa shows.
Iron & Wine — the folk project of former Floridian Sam Beam — will play Tampa Theatre on November 15. The appearance comes a year after Beam brought his latest album, Beast Epic, to Orlando, and it's Iron & Wine's first show in the Bay area since a 2014 set at the Straz Center. Tickets for the Iron & wine show go on sale Friday, May 11 at 10 a.m. and will cost fans $34.50-$62.50. More information is available via tampatheatre.org.
In other strummy news, a much younger, and much more pop-oriented songwriter, Shawn Mendes, told fans that he'll return to Tampa's Amalie Arena on July 27 — which is almost one year to the day he headlined Amalie in 2017 and nearly three years after Taylor Swift brought Mendes to play Raymond James Stadium.
