Weโ€™re starting to think that U2โ€™s Songs of Surrender may have been loosely inspired by Lacuna Coilโ€™s latest full album. The Milan-based metal quintet released a stripped down and rerecorded iteration of third studio album Comalies last year, in honor of the recordโ€™s 20th anniversary.

The bandโ€™s current โ€œOctober Dawnโ€ tourโ€”which runs through selections from the revitalized album and beyondโ€”marks its first time in Tampa Bay since a slot at the 2014 iteration of 98 Rockfest.

Tickets to see Lacuna Coil, God Forbid, and Lions at the Gate at St. Pete’s Jannus Live on Sunday, Oct. 29 are still available for $28.50.
