Well, we’ve run out of coconut oil, and the day is finally here. Rapper, singer, songwriter, flautist and overall badass Lizzo brings her meteoric rise to Tampa on Tuesday, just one week after her hit single “Truth Hurts” went to no. 1 on the Billboard 100. The feat made the 31-year-old one of just three female rappers to reach no. 1 solo after Cardi B did it with “Bodak Yellow” and Lauryn Hill accomplished the feat with “Doo Wop (That Thing).” We’d be surprised if Lizzo isn’t playing a venue even bigger than the Yuengling Center next time she’s back in town.

Lizzo w/Ari Lennox. Tues. Sept. 10, 8 p.m. $41.25 & up. Yuengling Center, Tampa. Yuenglingcenter.com.
