The last time The Whoโ€™s Roger Daltrey took on a solo gig in Tampa Bayโ€”a 2017 pre-Halloween gig in Clearwaterโ€”he ripped into tunes that even The Who never played live (โ€œHow Many Friends,โ€ โ€œItโ€™s Not Enoughโ€) and even live debuted a solo tune still being worked out for an album that released a year later.

Heโ€™s been back to Tampa Bay twice since thenโ€”both times with Pete Townshend and a symphony orchestraโ€”and sure enough, there are new songs, mainly off of The Whoโ€™s eponymous 2019 album, for Roger to test the live waters on for the first time.

We just had Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band live debut new music in Tampa last week, and weโ€™re more than willing to have a member of the British Invasion do the same thing.

Tickets to see Roger Daltrey play Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater are still available and start at $68.25.
