
Jason Mraz recently announced plans to extend his Broadway debut until January 28, but he's now got plans for the weeks after after his final show with the hit musical, Waitress.
The multiple Grammy-winning songwriter has booked a 17-date solo acoustic tour that includes a March 17 stop at St. Petersburg's Mahaffey Theater.
Tickets will go on sale to the public Friday, December 15 at 10 a.m. and will cost fans $59.50-$126.
The tour announcement comes at the heels of the 15th anniversary of his breakthrough LP Waiting For My Rocket To Come. There's no news of a new album, but Mraz, 40, recently co-wrote and performed a new original song, “Can’t Hold Out On Love,” to be featured in the upcoming Warner Bros. feature film, Father Figures, which arriving in theaters nationwide on December 22.
Other Florida stops on the tour include Orlando (March 13 at Walt Disney Theater at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts), Miami (March 14 at Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts), West Palm Beach (March 16 at West Palm Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts) and Fort Myers (March 19 at Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall).
