Jimmy Buffett Tomorrow is Election Day, and if you're reading this, then you likely live in one of this presidential election's most coveted constituencies, and if Saturday's free show from Jon Bon Jovi wasn't enough to get you out to vote, then the Hillary Clinton campaign is hoping another free show — this time from Mr. Florida, Jimmy Buffett — will do the trick. Dr. Jill Biden and Vice President Joe Biden will also be at St. Pete's Albert Whitted Park for the free show. Registration is required and admittance will happen on a first come first served basis. Doors for the event open at 3 p.m. EST and Buffett should be on around 5:30 p.m. EST. More information is available here. See Creative Loafing's election recommendations here. Wine & Rhyme w/Dynasty/Sekajipo For the People/Sir Pap/Venus Bleu/Giddy Perez/Beyobe/Mike Mass/DJ Wally Clark The Young Parisians are tapping beloved Tampa emcee Dynasty for the November edition of their fast-growing, always eclectic Wine & Rhyme monthly. Locals still reeling from Dynasty’s album release party just a few weeks ago will be glad to know that Giddy Perez and Venus Bleu from that show’s lineup are on this bill alongside ex-Tampa emcee, SirPap, songwriter Sekajipo ForthePeople plus selectors Beyobe and DJ Wally Clark. Trash Talk w/Antwon/Black Noise/Madtown Before we get to talking about the madness that is Trash Talk, just look to your right at the nasty poster designed by Tampa artist Mike Miller. K, that's nice right? Also nice are Trash Talk, a Sacramento, California hardcore band famous for almost absurdly live shows. Frontman Lee Spielman has been known to literally walk on crowds (just like he did when the band stopped into Ybor in 2014 and 2015), and while we're hoping nobody pees in their own mouth at this show, we're willing to bet it's going to be the best kind of shit show since Trash Talk have a new EP, Tangle, which is their first since 2014's No Peace. Download the new EP for free here and hear it below. (Orpheum, Ybor City) INFO
