During his most recent Tampa concert, John Mayer heaped loads of praise on his opening act, JP Saxe, who he called one of the kindest people around.

A lot of artists apparently feel the same way about the 30-year-old pop songwriter.
The Grammy-nominee’s new album, A Grey Area, features new arrangements of fan favorites, recorded with the help of friends like Cory Henry and Tal Wilkenfeld.

Tickets to see JP Saxe play Tampa’s Orpheum (14802 N Nebraska Ave.) on Friday, Feb. 23 are still available and start at $28.50
