A head-on, medium shot of country singer Jon Langston. He is standing against a tan or beige wall. He wears a black T-shirt under an open, long-sleeved, maroon and black plaid shirt. He has tattoos on both forearms. He is wearing a black and white baseball cap with a deer on the front. He is also wearing a silver chain necklace. He has a reddish-brown beard and is looking directly at the camera with a serious expression.

Roll in and rock out, because Jon Langston will headline a kickoff party for Vinoy Park’s inaugural St. Pete Country Fest the night before the twangy festivities begin.

The 34-year-old Georgia boy, who is scheduled to play the festival the next day, will hold an acoustic set at SkyBeach Resort’s Azibi Stage, loaded with his bro-country anthems that span across over ten years. There’ll probably be a handful of rarely-performed cuts on the list, but don’t be surprised if his newest, more contemporary-sounding single “Real One” (co-written with Nashville’s Tuten Brothers) makes its way into both of his local sets that week.

There’s no cover to see Jon Langston play the St. Pete Country Fest kickoff party at St. Pete’s SkyBeach Resort on Thursday, Nov. 20.
