Kaleigh Baker told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay last year that sheโ€™d be looking into a more showcase-based style for her bandโ€™s live performances, and it looks like that also goes for a few of The Someday Honey frontwoman solo performances.

This gig promises to rotate songs and stories from Baker (who opened for Rufus Wainwright weeks before starting a sabbatical that saw her temporarily move to New York) and three other local singer-songwriters.

Ella Jet (โ€œSunshine and Rosesโ€) had a hell of a year, having split her time between the Bay area and Nashville while also rocking an intimate set at Hulaween. Tampa expat Josh Lamkinโ€”who also lives in Nashvilleโ€”continues focusing heavily on his eponymous guitar business, which sees him customize and repair axes of all sorts. Orlando folkie Terri Binion rounds things out.

Tickets to see Kaleigh Bakerโ€™s Songwriters in the Round at The Ale & the Witch in St. Petersburg on Thursday, Jan. 9 are still available for $18.
