Tampa’s been “Hot n Cold” on the new name for Amalie Arena, and there’s a good chance Katy Perry fans will hear the song this weekend when the pop icon plays the first big concert at what now technically Benchmark International Arena.

Perry, a Dr. Luke stan who’s been nominated for 15 Grammys, announced the American leg of her “Lifetimes” tour this morning, with a press release that says she will perform “all of her hits.”

After 11 years as Amalie Arena, officials at the venue announced the name change last Wednesday.

As previously reported, arena reps would not tell Creative Loafing Tampa Bay the financial details, but did confirm that the renaming agreement with the worldwide merger and acquisitions firm “is a multi-year agreement.”

Sports Business Journal reports that the naming is agreement “is for 10 years and ranks among the top five richest for a standalone NHL arena,” but a rep for the new Benchmark International Arena told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that financials will not be disclosed. “We can confirm it is a multi-year agreement,” the rep added.

Tickets to see Katy Perry play Benchmark International Arena in Tampa on Friday, Aug. 22 are still available and start at $54.75.
