Almost a year after it opened for Beartooth in the same room, Kentucky rock band Knocked Loose is back and headlining Orpheum. Thursday’s gig is in support of a new album, A Different Shade of Blue, which debuted at no. 1 on several independent rock charts.

An ironically-named one-two combo of opening bands — Rotting Out and Candy — open the show alongside California hardcore band Stick To Your Guns.

Knocked Loose w/Stick To Your Guns/Rotting Out/Candy. Thurs. Oct. 24, 6 p.m. $23-$40. Orpheum, Ybor City. eventbrite.com.
